St Neots Riverside Half Marathon Course Guide

From Mile 3 to Mile 6

Abbotsley is a traditional focal point for spectators, as the village green is passed twice by the race. There will be parking for spectators available in the village but if you have friends or family wishing to see you on the route, please advise them to get there early and certainly before the race starts as otherwise they may be caught up in road closures. Please make sure they use marked car parks or park sensibly in the village and consider the residents.

Right Turn just After the 3 Mile Mark

The race enters the village at just before the three mile mark and it quickly gets to the village green which will hopefully be packed with spectators on race day, and turns right for a very short steep section of the course. After this the road becomes narrow and has a fairly long but gentle uphill out of the village. The first of the four drinks stations is here around three-quarters of the way up the hill.
